Functional Movement Screening

This service involves a combination of movement analysis, soft tissue treatment and corrective exercise program to help clients move and function more effectively. Specifically useful for address any neuro-muscular imbalances impeding their life or athletic performance.

The process starts with a full, comprehensive movement screening, biomechanical analysis and consultation (to understand goals, take measurements, medical history etc). This allows us to understand the client's current issues and neuromuscular balance. 
After a short break (if required), we will begin soft tissue treatment. This will allow us to immediately begin working on any imbalances discovered during the movement screening, as well as allow us to gain further understanding of any issues through this hands-on part of the appointment. We will then reanalysis any selected movements following the treatment.

The length of time devoted to each part of the appointment will depend on the client, but generally each half will take at least an hour, but potentially up to 90 minutes.

Following our appointment, an in-depth 4-8 week corrective exercise program will be emailed to you with accompanying walk-through videos for each exercise prescribed. This program is individual and personalised around the client's needs and goals, the time and equipment they have available to them, and their current ability level.

This initial comprehensive assessment is only £300.

Subsequent assessments are recommended every 4-8 weeks (as determined by the exercise program) at a rate of £250.
